Running for The Hope Centre!

Sally Horrobin and Clare Walsh from Minehead try to keep fit by running together and on July 7th they decided to put their effort to good use by running the Beacon to Beach Fun Run to raise money for two local charities which are close to their hearts.

They raised over £315.00 which will be split between the Hope Centre and Home-Start West Somerset (a voluntary organisation offering support, friendship and practical help to families at home with children under seven).

‘We are so grateful to everyone who sponsored us, it was such a great incentive to keep going in the heat and will make a real difference to people within our community,’ said Clare.
