Magna housing supports improvements for service users 2013
We were very pleased to receive financial support from Magna Housing Association which will be use to part fund improvements to our bathing facilities.
Hope online 2012
A project to provide counselling support and online training to help with basic skills to access rehabilitation services and also find out about benefits, housing and local employment opportunities. We were delighted and grateful to be part financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development 2007 – 2013: Europe investing in rural areas and delivered with Defra as the Managing Authority
Outstanding contribution to reducing re-offending 2008 – Avon & Somerset local justice awards
This was amazing and came as a complete surprise as we didn’t even know we’d been nominated! This Award recognised the work we have done in helping those who have made some bad decisions in the past, but are now getting back on the right track.
We received the award at the Avon & Somerset Local Justice Awards ceremony at Rookery Manor near Bristol on Tuesday, 2nd December 2008 – it was a lovely night out!
It really helped make people aware of The Hope Centre in Minehead. The award was featured in a couple of local papers. Download the West Somerset Free Press article (pdf 700kb)
We later discovered that we had been nominated by Rachel Cutler, a local Police Community Support Officer. Rachel has been a great support to The Hope Centre.
