We want to give our clients the opportunity to do activities outside of the drop in sessions that they wouldn’t otherwise be able to do.
One of the activities The Hope Centre is doing at present, is to take a small group of people up to North Hill on one Tuesday each month, to do some voluntary ground clearance work alongside Exmoor National Park staff.
As well as looking after the environment, those who go enjoy the fresh air, working as a team and finding out about the history of North Hill.
Ian co-ordinates this and we have hand tools, coats and gloves available for use. Packed lunch, drinks and transport are provided.
We leave 10.45am by taxi and return by 2pm.
If anyone may like to join in this, come in to the drop-in or call 07949 642774 and ask for Ian.
